The Kellys

WE can’t even with this wedding. The pics are glorious, everyone looks deliriously happy and Jayne OWNED the jacket. Jayne and Stephen married last summer and we have loved seeing the pics and the after fun. Here’s the deets of the big day…

“I think the fact that we didn’t overthink or stress over every little detail had a lot to do with how great the day turned out!” – Mrs Kelly

Advice to brides planning their wedding: Book the big things – venue, band, photographer – early on and everything else will fall into place. Don’t let your wedding take over your life or let other people stress you out. We had a clear vision of how we wanted our day to be and above it all we wanted it to be one big party. I think the fact that we didn’t overthink or stress over every little detail had a lot to do with how great the day turned out! We knew we were going to be surrounded by our favourite people in great venues and that was what was important to us.

Any surprises: We booked a piper pretty last minute, only a couple of weeks before the wedding. He totally went above and beyond and piped the entire wedding party of 152 people from our drinks reception venue, The Grosvenor in Ashton Lane, down Byres Road (a busy street in Glasgow’s West End) to our evening venue Oran Mor. The atmosphere was amazing, everyone in the shops on the street came out to wave to us and pass on their congratulations. Was definitely one of many highlights of the day.

Sum your wedding day up in one sentence: The biggest and best party of our lives!
